I have the following questions regarding the ESX1's capabilities as a drum machine:

1. Can I create patterns on the ESX and chain them into full songs with no restrictions on the complexity of the length and arrangement of the individual patterns?

2. Is it possible to create MIDI files of drum tracks on my computer, then transfer them to the ESX so as to avoid having to re-program the drum patterns manually?

Any comments from experienced ESX users are very much appreciated.
