Hello everyone.
This is simple for everyone but I am making a problem out of it. Currently my pa3x is connected to the mixer (I have Mackie profx12) via 2 stereo TRS cables Left and Right to my mixer's 2 separate mono insert channels. I do not think this is right.
I want quality and prefer mono sound. Do you guys think I can buy 1/4" TRS to XLR Cables and connect them to 2 separate MIC channels, and also have a balanced sound? Please help. Thank you!
Please help with connecting 3x to the mixer

Insert inputs are for effect, these are like stereo jacks : a side for send the effect, the other for the effect return and the ground.
You must plug the PA on track 5/6 or 7/8, 9/10... L and R are for stereo
You can plug your PA on channel 1 & 2 and pan the 1 to far left and the 2 to far right, if you have a mixer without stereo inputs, but check that the general outputs are stereo =)

3x to mixer ???
you said put the 3x out into channel 1 & 2 of the mixer ,& pan them full right , full left … doesn't the panning on the instruments in the 3x have to be pan in the center ????? it seems when i take left & right out of my 3x & put them in channel 1&2 ,set the pans at center on the mixer, i get the fullest sound …and my instruments on the 3x are panned however i arranged them for that style... just my 2 cents worth

Re: 3x to mixer ???
If you use mono channels on the mixer and you don't pan them full left and right you get mono output on the main outs of the mixer. This mono output is the result of the left and right signals added.al urezzio wrote:you said put the 3x out into channel 1 & 2 of the mixer ,& pan them full right , full left … doesn't the panning on the instruments in the 3x have to be pan in the center ????? it seems when i take left & right out of my 3x & put them in channel 1&2 ,set the pans at center on the mixer, i get the fullest sound …and my instruments on the 3x are panned however i arranged them for that style... just my 2 cents worth
