my first complete song!

I've been sitting on a lot of incomplete songs done over many years mainly because I have had no time to collaborate with singers, lyricists etc. Finally fed up, I decided to take things in my own hands and complete a full song with whatever words and sounds that came to my mind. Here's the result...

Complex arpeggiations with KARMA helped with some of the arrangements. I finally got it mastered online and am intending to make a music video and release it.

I am not a professional musician; I have a busy day job and hence it took me over one year to do this one song slowly on and off. Not a great song, but something for starters. Hope to get some feedback from fellow oasys and kronos users. Bonus if people like it.

Not my cup of tea in terms of style / genre of music but top marks on completing a full song. I have amassed over 20 years worth of ditties (unfinished projects) that never make it to a "full song" - I keep meaning to but always end up with a new riff / idea / loop etc etc - one day :-)

Congratulations on finishing a song. I know how hard that can be, as I've also accumulated literally hundreds of half-baked productions over the years.

I am a new Kronos user, so I'm curious about the extent to which people use the instrument as a recording and composition tool. Was yours a conventional multitrack project in a conventional DAW, or did you use the Kronos sequencer for any of this?

Thanks both. I've never learnt to use the Kronos sequencer and have never used it as a compositional tool ever. To me, the Kronos sequencer feels so complicated, editing difficult and the screen size too small to work with.

But Kronos and OASYS are both a great inspirational tool for me. I normally play and experiment with various sounds and KARMA and then record them into Logicx and slowly build the song with sounds both from Kronos and other soft synths.
