The card is a micro size. Speed rating 10. It's non volatile.

So far 2 members are using 64 gigabytes, Korg recommends 32 GB but says 64 will probably work.

I'm going to put in a 128 GB fairly soon. Will let you know how it goes. Stay tuned. It is basically a non volatile "auxiliary" card.

Thanks Ken,
How long have you been in the Corpus area?
My wife graduated from Gregory-Portland High School.

Hammer,

Been here about 8 years now. I live about 5 blocks from the high school in Portland.

It's been running at or over 100 degrees here every day now. If it doesn't cool off a bit, I might think about moving to Alaska !

We have family there. Family home is right up the highway towards Aransas. Next time we come down I'll let you know.

Deane,

Just put a San Disk Micro Ultra plus SDXC UHS-1 128 GB Card in the unpopulated SD slot above the battery, inside the rear panel next to the video output. Easy install, easy fit, humming along at read speeds up to 80MB/s. No problems at all!

I also added a San Disk 128 GB Ultra USB 3.0 flash drive in the rear "host" USB port that reads up to 100 MB/s. They claim it can transfer a full length movie in under 40 seconds, if that's true, it's similar to streaming speed, isn't it?

For the moment, I'll be using it to load songs into the unit that I can use for practice and building a repertoire for requests. My guitar teacher loves to use that approach of polishing up a tune while getting it up to speed without having a band on call. It works for both keyboards and guitars, and many other instruments too.
