I see that I have 14 GB free space.
Why can`t I load samples with a size of 225 Mb(.sf2) . I am getting "Memory Overflow" and I can`t see a way to avoid it.... ;(

Your RAM is full.

And what can I do with that ?
Is it a way to slow down the use of RAM ?

most likely you have already loaded a lot of samples (ksc files)
you will need to remove samples from memory before loading any new.
When working with sf2 etc, I usually remove everything from memory.
that way it gives me clean slate as well as allows for saving independent KSC's

OK.
For me it sounds a bit scary to remove samples.
I hope they don`t disappear....
How will Kronos be after removing ?
And where do I load the new sound?
And if I restart afterwards, is everything OK then ?
Do the programs and combi be on the same places?
Many questions in my head
I really do not understand the prosess here.
Afraid of deleting and so missing good sounds on my Kronos.
I would be happy if you could take me step by step what I have to do.
I will not experiment with this

Thank you !

I'll highly advise you read the manual to get in terms with kronos architecture.
In an nutshell,
anything (relating to samples) that kronos needs to play at the moment has to be brought into from disk it's memory/ram (which is limited)
It also reads samples directly off internal disk (but that is partial: a part of it still needs to be loaded into the RAM.)
Read into loading and saving samples (the KSC files etc)
Thing is even if you import the soundfont, you'd have to save them to disk (ksc, pcg) otherwise they will not be available on next reboot.
I don't want to confuse you, so it's best you go through the manual first and then ask away about any issues.
****
You Don't actually delete the samples, you just clear the volatile memory(RAM) to load new samples into it.

SF2 is loaded in full Ram mode and not in streaming mode where is probably lower than 40 Mb so you have to delete nothing !
Therefore read manual first and then do the following :
- Goto Global/Auto load and uncheck temporary all files there
- Load SF2 and then save sampling data only
- Go again to Global/Auto load and check back the files there
- Load saved SF2 _user samples.KSC (smaller Ram size)
Done

Here's an example:
You have a library that can hold 60,000 books (hard drive) but you can check out and use only 3,000 books at a time (ram). If you put some books back, you can get more up to your limit of 3,000.

Now I have read and tried to understand a little more. And i dared to lose the piano-sample for a while. (And got some problems with loading back)
Now I have nearly come to the end of these instructions
http://thekronosblog.blogspot.no/2013/0 ... d.html?m=1
I think I have done this right:
"Click on the drop down arrow in the top-right corner and select SAVE SAMPLING DATA.
In the Text box at the top give it a file name. Make sure SAMPLING MODE DATA is selected and ALL (under Sampling mode options).
Click on SAVE."
I saved a loooott of files.
BUT:
I don`t know where. I called it a name but can`find it.
The last line is:
"Now find the _UserBank.KSC version of this file and click on LOAD. Under KSC Allocation make sure CLEAR SAMPLING DATA is selected and click OK."
But where do I find _UserBamk.KSC
I have used a lot of time. I hope you can help me with this .

Follow this workflow example that you will study later :
- Reboot Kronos and load Petit Italien.SF2 ...mpla-mpla as described in website.
- Create a new folder in your Kronos SSD called "Harpsichord" using Media/Utility
- Open empty folder "Harpsichord" , select Save / "only Sampling Data" (as described ) but give a name eg "Petit Italien".KSC
- After saving (inside Harpsichord folder) a folder called Petit Italien and two files Petit Italien.KSC and Petit Italien_UserBank.KSC
will be created there.
- Goto Global/Auto-Load and "add" Petit Italien_UserBank.KSC browsing for it.
- Let this Harpsichord folder permanently in your Kronos SSD.
- From now on , everytime you boot Kronos your Harpsichord samples will be loaded in minimum size (streaming mode).
- Keep on studying manual & relative info for understanding this workflow ...
Hope this helps
