Is it possible to save your patterns (including the parameter recorded sequences) to an external device such as a computer?

The Volcas are cool, but the 16 pattern limitation without Midi Out is crippling. Why does Korg not add a midi out? At least give us either Midi Out or more pattern slots. Was hoping that saving Volca FM patterns to an external device would be possible, so I hope someone here know if it is or isn't.

I have seen one report of someone successfully recording and playing back the "clone" settings i.e. recording from the Sync Out port and playing back into the Sync In port.

IIRC recording had to be stereo & they had to artificially boost the volume of the playback as it was too quiet otherwise.

I have not tried this myself yet, but I was planning on trying it soon.
