Liverpool arranger

Does anyone know about this beast? Is it possible to midi it into a 4x to use the 4x as a controller? Is there any way to get a copy of the styles and download them into a 4x?

Hi Liongold,

There are a couple of posts regarding the Korg Liverpool on these Forums. Have a look at the one on the PA900/ PA3X Le Forum.
So far nobody has been able to create a file with the Liverpool songs and styles on it, despite one of the Forum members actually owning a Korg Liverpool.
Dopamine, the French PA600 owner has compiled a file with 800 additional styles in it. A few of them are Beatles styles, but currently none of the actual Korg Liverpool styles are on it.

I can only assume that Korg has managed to lock the styles into the keyboard so the information cannot be extracted. Possibly due to copyright issues. Only a thought.

To answer part of your question (and yes I own one) you can midi the Liverpool to the PA4X making the PA4X the controller...Korg to Korg that should be straightforward. However the Beatles style files are definitely locked into the Liverpool for fairly obvious reasons. They are superb style files though.
