Korg Zero 8 Too Quiet

I just purchased this second hand and like many of you my touchscreen appears to be toast. I don't really care about the screen however overall the mixer seems to be pretty quiet. With a Sub37 at full volume with the channel gain at max I can push the VU meter to -7db at most. All of my other equipment barely moves it.

Does the touchscreen have a function to raise these levels? Would a factory reset bring them up to a more normal level? Or is this typical operation?
