Signed it. Please share this link on your social media, on Facebook groups related to Electribes, Grooveboxes, music production etc. to get more people signed. Thanks!

Same boat. I don't have a facebook account either, but I did let Synthhead (Synthtopia) know. I am hopeful that they will put up something this weekend.

Great the petition is up! :D

... and already 94 users signed it in just 6 hours. Seems to be a good result. Yes, we need to spread it on many places. Unfortunately no FB here, too.

The FB Korg E2/E2S group admin deleted the petition link.

The group has its rules. The post did not violate any of the rules. Yet the admin decided to delete this post. Here is his explanation:

"Imho hassling Tats with a petition about something that isn't even his field is also not cool. Occasionally I will delete things that don't break the rules if I feel that they are detrimental to the group. The Electribe has an undeserved bad rep due to stuff like that petition and all the other unnecessary moans"

He based his call just on his personal opinion. He personally decides what is a „moan” or not, and if it is „necessary” or not. Wow, what a guy...

So I guess this is his own, personal Electribe group, not a public forum. And seems the general rule there is when you say something bad about Korg or the Electribes – you get the boot.

So I wouldn't worry too much about this group or any other FB group in general.

As for including Tats as the main recipient of the petition: to some point I agree that this is wrong. He is involved in the analogue part of Korgs product line, he's is the face of the incredible success of the Volca line. He was propably never involved with the Electribes.

But on the other hand, he is the only one public Korg person people know and recognize. Thats why forwarding him this message is OK IMO, as long as he is not the main recipient. He is definitely not responsible for the issues adressed in this petition.

If there's a way to edit that - you should do that.

this guy, the fb admin makes me sad - leave him alone in his fantasy world - I've seen posts from him on the fb page that he's in depression or something..

The FB group users seem to be content with the Electribe 2 just the way it is. But they get veeeery angry at all people who think otherwise.

So there is simply no need to involve them in the petition.
