Dying to know what the updates are! The video says software is available on the website but it's not up yet.

Wow that petition worked fast
• Added a Chain function that plays multiple patterns in succession.
The pattern parameters “CHAIN TO” and “CHAIN REPEAT” and the global parameter “CHAIN MODE” have
been added.
For details, refer to the latest version of the "electribe sampler Parameter Guide."
Immediately after the software update, the settings will be as follows.
Pattern parameters Global parameters
CHAIN TO "Off" CHAIN MODE "Off"
CHAIN REPEAT "1"
• Added an UNDO function.
We have added an UNDO function that cancels the previous operation, such as parameter edit, sequence
recording, or Erase.
To execute UNDO, hold down the shift button and press the < button.
• Added an “Original Value” function that indicates the saved value of the parameters.
• Reduced the time required to load samples when the memory card contains an exported “e2sSample.all”
file at startup.
• Reduced the time required to export all samples when using the DATA UTILITY “EXPORT ALL SAMPLE”
function.
• A few minor bugs have been fixed.

FYI this OS release had nothing to do with the petition. It hasn't even been sent over to Korg.

When all of that stuff was coming together I sent the thread to someone I know that works at Korg. He told me he would send it to people there. But I feel like this was something they had in the works for a while.

It's the "can you please stop posting snarky comments on the internet" update
(gonna re-buy as I sold mine a while ago, just hope the pattern chaining feature is good!)

I think we all figured that out.
I kinda like the new revamped color and knobs scheme, reminds me the SH-101. It seems they also have corrected the e2s recessed pads top row problem.
Which are good news and means:
- there's a new batch in production
- there are still developing the units, yet silently
- the v2 kinda resets the whole clumsy 2014 release
- this forum is alive again
Let's hope for more petition driven OS releases now.

Woops.
Maybe I took the SD card away too soon.
The options remain and work as expected, it seems now the Electribe needs the card to be inserted in order to show that menu options.
Well... not so bad coders.

from the new update i really like that it doesn't glitch anymore when you save.
Along with the pattern chain you can now edit & save a pattern while playing and it will save the change along as many repetitions of the pattern as you have assigned. As I create looped chains, not so much to achieve progression rather then introduce variation on 8 and 16 bars, the smooth saving allows for completely changing the mood in relation to the next pattern in the chain. I don't know if I explain it clearly but it feels like an incentive to investigate new arrangements. Combined with the pattern chaining on my Circuit and OP-12 I feel great comfort and room for improvisation with a limited amount of material.
+- 3 patterns on each device all made to fit with each other allow me to jam for a good 30 mins and go in all crazy directions without being repetitive. Very good stuff.
I dream of them fixing the note tails and syncing the step jump function for sum complete madness.

No, the glitch is still there (at least on the E2S).
Though that doesn't mean that this wasn't a nice, but small, update.. Pattern chaining (YES!), original values on the display (great), much more faster loading time, undo function.. for the beginning I'm satisfied..

No, the glitch is still there
Confirm. On the E2 too.
Also I've noticed another minor bug: when I save the pattern, I can't delete characters in its name by pressing SHIFT+<. There's UNDO function on this shortcut now.

There's a new warning message when Pattern Lock is on : it stays like forever when you accidentally touch the value button.
Gotta press exit to have the screen back to normal. That's annoying to say the least.
And when choosing the pattern to chain, no circular menus to quickly reach the next pattern (shift + scroll helps though).
But having the pattern number and pattern name on the same line means there's no enough display real estate to show the full pattern name.
