Not loaded by the operating system for the Pa900

Hi.
On the pa900 were the operating system is installed 1.20. But I have not imported multisample SF2. My friend has the same Korg. It can load Sf2 in your Korg. He gave me the files that he uploaded himself. I have not loaded. I reloaded the operating system again. Version 1.20 is the same. But the drive was not written to the file Factory Rezet 1.20. The operating system is booted and stopped in the middle. On a black background display only white inscription KORG.

Probably on a USB flach did not find the file Factory Rezet 1.20. What do I do, please tell me?

You should download factory reset OS from
www.korg.com ,put it in a usb stick and load it on PA900 as usual (INTRO1+POWER ON)!

I have many times tried exactly as written in the instructions download in Ра900 OS - the same result: black screen with white letters "KORG".

Employees of the service center help! Doesn't anyone have an adequate response on this issue? Can I do something locally on the spot to fix the loading of the operating system? (Not necessary children's councils: press INTRO1+power ON). Or is this problem just me?

Does it at least write "UPDATE MODE" when you try entering update?
It sounds like corrupt NAND flash on CPU Board...so you may have to replace the cpu board...

Seems to be nobody else frequently is using large quantity of software, to try what can be done with Pa900 without factory-presets.
Years ago when i got my Pa500 i had same troubles, because it was necessary to initialize NAND after trials to load incompatible styles.
Form me it was not difficult to initialize NAND because i got the combination how to start built-in service-tool of Pa500 and how to use it to initialize its NAND.
I think it would be similar with Pa900 after using SF2 or Styles that could corrupt NAND and makes it necessary to initialize it.
Hope you get that information from KORG and hope you will send me that informations per PM - i also will try to get that informations from KORG, because do not want to buy a Pa900 before i know, how to re-initialize its system after data-corruption that may occur if using software.
It should not to be necessary to replace a cpu or a board each time using corrupt data unintentionally - it also is not necessary with pa500 and pa800.

I am sorry to say that, but pa300/600/900/3xle/4x run on newer system which is linux based, therefore no way to format nand as the older series...
The older series (pa500/800 and 2x (3x was the same platform but no format NAND option in it as it didn't had one)) had 2 memory chips onboard, NOR bootrom (where everything needed to boot were (bootloader)) and NAND flash for mzx system (OPOS) and factory/user files...With the NAND format option through service menu you could only format the NAND ,therefore only the userspace..
Here our friend has a problem with system/rootfs space and so there is no way to fix it (except maybe in factory reprogramming if they do it as i haven't found a JTAG port yet on the newer series). It may be even a hardware fault in the communication between NAND and ARM (OMAP3) CPU.

Thank you.
My service center said something like this. The total cost of fees + repair: almost 450$.
Did this happen from improperly loaded sf2 file in the sampler?

Most probably no.It was just random...Every partition needed to boot is read only so i see no way of getting messed up by loading something in userspace except there is a serious bug in the system...
If you wish to sell the faulty cpu board i want to give it a try to fix it,i don't want to do mods to a working one as its not that cheap to just throw it away if something doesn't go well..

I will take note.
I am furious. Looks like I will lose 450$ and a lot of time to repair. But the main thing I have a musician for a very long time to be without music. This is a disaster for me.
I'm in a deep depression.

Please send any letter without content. My E-mail

Would be grateful for any advice or help.
