Hi Folks
Has anyone here tried the Radias editor running under wndows 10? there seems to be a driver issue preventing the editor uploading / downloading patches over USB.
I have tried the latest driver but no luck. I can currently get patches up to the Radias uing my midi interface but they won't save from the Radias to the editor.
Meh!

Hi LiPI
Thanks for the reply
That particular version of the driver doesn't seem to be on the
Korgs Radias drive list.
Can I please ask where you got the v1.15.401 driver from?
Many thanks!

Hi!
It's not exactly for RADIAS, it's newer... but I use that present days for RADIAS.

Anyway first times I used the 1.12 without problem:

I don't remember why I changed it to 1.15; probably I given a try the newer version and at the end it's stayed...
Cheers!

Hi LiPI, thanks for taking the time to reply.
Still no joy here but I'll persue this a bit further when I get more time next week.
It could be that my verions of Windows 10 (Pro) has lost compatibility with the driver. I think I'm on the very latest build:
Version: 1607
OS Build: 14393.321
Cheers!

Hi!
It's same as mine.
One more thing: I'm running all driver setup on my system as administrator... (You know.... right click on the exe, and "Run as administrator..."). In a lot of case it's help because in w10 (sience w7) the administrator and the user with administrator privilegs are not same...
Don't ask me why - I'm just an IT engeneer but not working for microsoft
I think you need to deinstall all korg drivers, restart your PC, then installing the mentioned 1.15 driver... then restart PC again...
I hope it's help becouse if it's work on my same system as your, it's have to work on your too!

Hi LiPI
I finally got it working (after a long struggle). Seems the Radias USB midi driver needs to be among the first 10 midi devices that Windows sees (some earlier O/S throw back). If it's not you get a waring saying the USB driver is not istalled correctly when you load up the Radias editor (even though it is installed OK).
Any way I uninstalled the Korg driver and some other midi devices and re-installed the 1.15 driver and it now appears at no. 5 in the list of installed MIDI drivers so all is good now.
I hope this helps other in a similar situation.
Many thanks for helping with this LiPI!

The Korg Support website has been flooded with new links to the latest MIDI driver software for Windows, DrvTools_1_15_r16.exe, and Mac KORG_USB-MIDI_Driver_1_2_3_r7.dmg. There are no release notes, as such, and it remains to be seen if the Win10/Mac OS X Sierra compatibility issues have been ironed out in this release.
The only mention of what's new is mention of support for new prduct Arp Odyssey-M
Windows system requirements are given as Win7, 8.1 and 10, but the drivers seem to work happily with WinXP.
