Connecting 4 Volcas to DAW

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask for some advice on setting up volcas to record in a DAW:

So me and my friends have volcas and we want to link our 4 volcas to record in Logic. I want each volca to have its own track in Logic so we cant edit each volcas's sound individually. I was looking at buying the Focusrite 18i8 audio interface as a mean to do this. Am I right in thinking I just connect each volca using a stereo minijack to dual mono 1/4 jacks by plugging in one of the wires each to the audio interface and then open logic and set up the tracks accordingly?

Just wanted to know if I would be missing anything?

Thanks

Aren't Most of the Volcas (except the Sample) Mono?

Yeh I believe they are, I was under the impression that you just plug in one half of the Y-split mono cables into the audio interface and then pan it to fill whole stereo field?

i have focusrite 18i8. works fine with 4 Volcas (5 inputs), FX Pedal (2 in), Mic. (1 in)
But beware, it has 8 analog inputs only. for more you might want an ADAT preamp.

Thanks!
I also want to plug my Microkorg XL in and have it play in stereo, do I simply plug two 1/4 jacks in from the XL to the audio interface and set the track up in Logic to take 2 mono inputs which enable it to be in stereo?
