The latest tweet from Korg suggest a coming of something, I can't guess what it is seeing what the picture of the tweet suggest with it.

The texture and faded colors look retro.

Reminds me of this for some odd reason.

Colours are similar/indicative of the Poly 61...

Is there some clue in the text? Why have they written the date that way? Why is there a stroke through the zero (is that suggestive of a retro style numeric display) - and have any previous devices used that font? And - why this date for release - have they picked that date for a reason?

There are hints in there - come on lateral thinkers - what's being hinted at here ?? :-)

The Kronos came out in 2011 so it's near that time for a new flagship workstation ... but this time with fully weighted mini keys.

8 voice maxilogues, or 1970's style Kory running suit.

Well, I suspect the line is through the zero so there can be no ambiguity in relating it to the O1 range - so - it's likely not to be a workstation of any kind (as in - had they written simply 01 then people would have potentially inferred an O1 connection, and Korg wanted to avoid that connection).

So it's perhaps not a workstation.

Does 11.01.16 have any significance?

Looks like it could well be the Poly61 (reissue) in some form.

I posted a Poly61 pic on Korg's Twitter and the topic was pulled offline.

Really - a reissue of the most boring synthesizer ever conceived?

Maybe an affordable desktop Volca-esque version of the synth. Just a guess.

Poly800 also has similar colours.
