Loading wav files from USB key

Hi all,

I have a Korg Triton Extreme, which has the option of loading wav files from a USB key and then creating sng files etc and save them to the same USB.

That way, I can add wav samples to programs and combinations, by loading the sng files and appending the data.

Does the Krome have the same option, or something like it?

Thank you :-)

Yes, Krome can import wav files. It’s set up much like Triton & Kronos. Here’s a link on how you can import wav’s and set them up as programs. It works pretty much the same with Krome.

Hi again,

since the Krome doesn't have a USB port like the Kronos and Triton, how is it supposed to read the USB stick?

Best, Astrid

Sd card. What I did was buy USB Sd card adapter and hook it on the computer so I can drag data to it. You'll first need to format the card on the Krome.

Thank you for the quick reply! I shall try that. I was asking about USB, though, but now that I bought the Krome, I will have to use the SD solution, I guess :-)

I would love to see a step-by-step tutorial on how to import samples into the Krome (without using some other PC program for sample conversion, formatting for Krome, etc. then using PCGTools or other program) using the SD card.

This person bought a Krome based on advice from those who apparently know how to do it. I admit I do not, and would love to know if it is possible.

I can't figure out how to load the wav files into midi files so that they can be put into combinations. It does not work as it did on the Triton Extreme? Anyone?
