M3 Octaves

Post by EQula »

Hi Guys,
I'm using Korg M3 as midi controller, but I can't get 2 octaves Lower OR upper, it's only one Octave Up or Down. Is there any way to lower the keyboard 2 octaves? I need to lower the octave to control Kontakt's instruments which has some controls on C0 Area.
Thanks
Edmond

You could try setting the Global key transpose to +/- 12 and then in Program mode assign SW1 to octave up/down.

I know for sure that this will transpose 2 octaves when playing the keyboard locally but have not tried it using it as an external controller.

You are right, it's only local but its not affecting midi.
Thank you though. :D
