is it possible to save new sounds to another location?

Media ---> Save.You should be able to choose what do u want to save.
Entire KORG ,styles only,sounds only and other
Later you can even put it on your usb stick

i didn't mean backup, i mean importing new sounds

Media ----->Copy---->Switch to usb ----->Choose a file----->Copy to----->Switch to disk and press copy or something like this
I hope that is the thing u want

I suppose that Daibang would like to use sounds directly reading from hard disk what is not possible, because Korg can only reads samples that are in the RAM.

Indeed. Korg can only use sounds from ram. But he said he wants to keep them on hdd, not Use from hdd
That makes difference
