Style to KBD Set

I have tried, but I just don't understand this:

"OFF - Styles do not select a Keyboard Set.

ON - When choosing a Style, Keyboard Set 1 is automatically selected.

BLINKNG Choosing a Variation automatically recalls the corresponding
Keyboard Set (1 – 4) inside the Style. For example, choose Variation 2,
and Keyboard Set 2 will be automatically recalled; choose Variation 3,
and Keyboard Set 3 will be automatically recalled." (From p62 of User Manual)

-------------------------------------------------
Almost everything I do involves using Style mode, modifying parameters including voices, and saving this to a Songbook entry. Obviously, when I recall the entry, I want the style to use the vouces that I re-mapped. Mostly it does, but not always, and sometimes it recalls the original style voices. By trial and error, clicking through the different states of the 'Style To KBD SET' button, I can recall what I wanted, but it is not intuitive to me what each state means (even though I have read the words from the Manual)
---------------------------------------
So, what state should I use when I save a Songbook Entry, and what state when recalling an entry?

Thanks in advance for helping me overcome this mental block.

In song editor, you can double left click to edit, and then change each set from any style. To make it easier I have made song entries with my favourite set added to the first set, numbered so that they appear first in the book eg 001 Organ 002 Strings 003 Guitar and so on.I hope this is of some help-Terry

Thanks Terry. I assume you are referring to the PC-based Songbook Editor. I am trying to keep my life simple, and just use the keyboard panel , so that would be a last resort. But I can see how that would work.
