Replace lyrics in Embedded Midifile

I have a midifile with faulty lyrics that needs to be entirely replaced. The words in the Pa4x are all elongated. Is there a way, since pressing the lyrics button naturally does not ask for lyrics, so I can choose the new lyrics I put in the text file.

I don't think you can overwrite by text on Pa4x existing lyrics in Midi file, but you can use free software and do yourself.
Using Midi Quick Fix you can edit/replace, fix sync etc in midi files.

Hi Bernie,
as you´re using a Yammi PSR-970 you can use as well
"PSRUTI" from Heiko Plate.
It´s originally designed for Yamaha-Keyboards but can do a lot of things as well for Korg and Ketron ( I used it for my AUDYA5 as well )

I had thought about that, but wasn't sure. I saw that you could delete the lyrics. I will look into it further.

Hi Bernie,
just export them ( as safety copy
), then delete them and import the edited ( or even a new ) text.
