To those who want to create combis with the side chain effect, check this out.
Includes Template Combi that loads to U-E 000 and Program U-EE 000 FS Sidechain Trigger. Refrain from loading entire PCG file at once, open the file, then open the folders in disk mode then load combi and program individually to your desired slot to avoid overwriting any important sound data. If loading program U-EE000 to a different slot, be sure to edit the combi and change the program number of Timbre 16. Download links in video description.

Just a regular Yamaha square shaped sustain pedal. No a volume pedal will not work. It has to be plugged in the switch input behind your Kronos and in Global Mode, you have to select Foot Switch CC#82 as Foot Switch Assign and assign the opposite polarity of your switch pedal.
