I recently bought a Triton Classic Prox with several generations older O.S.

can I load in the latest OS 2.53?

I think it is acceptable to load OS 2.5.3 without intermediate older OS up-dates. To be sure, wait for others here to respond, or contact KORG support for a definitive answer.
