Downloaded this today, loaded to my Pa4X international, after loading I got a message saying some files were copy protected try again or reboot?....
all of the styles play but some have drum instruments missing which makes me think that some of the sounds have not loaded correctly (copy protected maybe)....
Only half of the pads work.... and same for the voices. they all load into user 1 for sound style and pad.
I'm gonna try downloading again maybe there was an error in download.
Be interesting to hear other peoples experiences
Cheers

Styles seemed very basic
What did you think?

Well it is for musikant only!
Yes it can be loaded on international (STD) pa4x but all new PCM's will be missing as they are encrypted and can be only decrypted/played by the musikant (MUS) version so all the styles will play incomplete and/or wrong!
(That is what this message says when it boots)

Downloaded this yesterday and fired it up, What did I think ?
I hope that this is not the product of work that was mentioned some weeks back, if it is then I am not impressed. Surely Korg can do better than this after a year

Crikey like that is it ...I won't bother then ..you have to ask your self what is really going on over at korg in light of some of the on going discussion on here???

Not really sure what to think about this after loading and trying it... some are saying it's for Musikant only and some saying it works on international... I download the file again just in case something went wrong, but it is not fully working on international version.
Why only Musikant? Doesn't seem fair to me.

Big software update from Korg italy for all versions is due in September... this was only a wiedergutmachungs gift for the german musikant version.

My source is pretty reliable... so the update is comming
But then Korg Italy is not, so if they will make September?
Only September will tell us...
I have good hopes for a 2.0 major update version, to counter the upcomming Tyros6/Genos in some way.

Is Tyros6/Genos still only a rumour?
I am hoping for "Genos" as opposed to "Tyros6" in the expectation that it will be a newly structured, and hopefully, professional arranger.
Another "Tyros" would be a great and "lazy" shame.
I like Yamaha gear and owned way too much of it in the past (G.A.S. problem mostly

)
A big PA4X update would be great and appreciate the heads-up but as you imply, I'll believe it all when there is an actual download link for it
Cheers
Pete
P.S. PA4X owners are the most patient people in the world don't you think?

I concur Pete on all the points you make here and especially considering my personal predicament.. korg uk can not find any strange anomilys with my back up file and korg Italy are calling for more time running there analysis and my patient has been stretched I can tell you

In my experience, Korg Italy closes for the entire month of August. Is that not the case this year?
Can't see them releasing in Sept after they've been away for a month? I know my head wouldn't be in the game.

Unless the product is done end of july.. maybe even June..
Might come with some advertisemnt campaign, and doing it before summer is a bad time for such a thing.
They will be showing the new OS to their external korg crew from belgium, uk, gemrany and other europeaan countries in June..
