starting to understand PA4X

Post by shadowhankron »

Hi

Awhile ago I complained about Disappointed with pa4x. but in past few weeks each night I played around with the keyboard a some things I started to understand...I now can play from USB stick. but still not sure about saving some of the user banks I have onto a different part of the usb...example. gig name
my preference is still Yamaha s970...but for Live sound the pa4x sounds good.
I find the midi to style converter touch and go some midi's converted were great others rubbish.
I thank many guys here who were fantastic in either answering on the forum or on my PM.
thanks again.....Happy Music everyone.

Great keyboard. Coming from Yamaha, it's taking me a while to take advantage of all it can do...but it's definitely a winner.

One thing...

I wish I could figure out how to get the Hawaiian steel guitar voice/sound I can get from my PSR S970. Also Yamaha has the best country bluegrass styles.

Hi Ronnie

So glad you persevered - this is an amazing keyboard - no question.

It's Mothers' Day here and today my son, daughter and I put on a music performance for my wife (at home) - was just great - PA4X ROCKS!!!

Take care and keep those questions coming....

I use "33 X B DI DNC" voice from the guitar bank. It's a great pedal steel. You could easily edit it if it's not exactly what you want. I just use it as is!

Based on DonM's suggestion last year I started using the "33 X B DI DNC" it does the job very well.
