KORG Triton Le Question MIDI/ Combi transfer to PC?

TRying to just record the MIDI data of a Combi to Cakewalk Professional.
in order to edit midi data. in CW Professional.
Saving to SD card not working either

DELL pc 64 Bit Win 7
Cakewalk professional & artist software
Focusrite 6i6 Audio /Midi inter face
