I have not used em since the update...
went back 2 my yamaha groove boxes...
such a shame the last update was last year in the summer,
it feels like they'll discontinue it soon...
Who else has not touched theirs...
the worst part was the sampler I still cannot believe how shitty it is compared to anything else new on the market or even the older stuff.

Lol!!! Finally people are realising how crap there machines really are. All because of workflow issues that replaced the old electribe style of working. A tip for korg... If you're gonna improve things, make sure it works first!!!

No. The toxic whiners here are just spoiled and lazy.

Perhaps for the new users of groovebox, without expectations of a type, is a good machine.

I agree with that, but that still doesn't change the inherent flaws like switching patterns causes clicks and glitches!
Several users have posted here saying these tribes are unsuitable for live performance due to this very issue.

Sold my Electribe Sampler after less than a month of ownership due to workflow issues. Picked up a like new EM-1 and couldn't be happier. For sampling I use a Boss SP-505 and Boss RC-202 for on the fly stuff. Korg really screwed up with these new Electribes. A huge step in the wrong direction.

@1_inch_punch Thanks you for this!!! Sounds really cool!!!!
Just have the (red) Electribe 2 sampler now for just a view days and to me it's all abracadabra right now. Just like when I first started using the ESX.
I sure hope I will follow through and won't let this machine collect any dust!

That's certainly not *my* all pattern - that's Mistahbishi's prime mover track,
Will only stay up for a week I been told.
Thought it would be a great confirmation of those folks taken over this forum who declare daily you cant make any music from the machine.

Still doesn't solve glitches and noise issues just cos they release a load of new patterns! Great job korg! Instead of releasing a fix for these issues you release a bunch of new patterns, great move!

I bought an MC 808 and maxed it out for $230 and its a much more capable machine.
I think Im going to try and make my E2 boot the swapped OS again as Ill get more use out of it as a sample player for drums or single cycle waveforms.

Same. It's one of my most disappointing purchases. I'm sitting on it and I can't sell it even close to the prize I bought it pre-release. That's also new. Normally you could trade the machines +- 50$ to the initial value.

Hilarious. It only twigged what the mighty SL was drooling on about.
Hey sweetheart, it's not released by Korg. It was released by the artist himself.
It's not a random collection of patterns, it's all the allpattern to his album Prime mover...
all power to you and the power non-users that have over-run this forum.
