If I connect my Pa900 as a slave to my Pa4X, what innovative and useful things could one do?

Use the speakers of the pa900 by routing audio from the pa4x to the pa900

Just use the pa900 in the top position for playing solo sounds, meaning you dont have to change sounds, and have a 2 nd set of sounds...

You could create styles with 16 tracks and 8 multi pads..

You could have a midi file running on the pa900 feeding a style on the pa4x with a chord track..

You can layer sounds of the pa900 on top of the L1. And R1,2,3 sounds...

.....

I am uisng a pa4x with a kronos... what i do a lot is using the things tha kronos offers and are not in the pa4x .... like using karma/arpegio's with the left hand of the kronos and also troggering style. CHords on the pa4x...

Bachus,

Thanks for the very interesting ideas!

I am thinking that it might be too complex for me a in a live situation, but would be great for recording in the studio. But then again, the more I experiment with it maybe I will figure out how to make it all work smoothly in a live situation as well.

I also have an old Micro Arranger. Lol. Oh, the possibilities!

The idea of having the second keyboard play additional Style tracks sounds good especially for EDM/House types of Styles but it would require a lot of work. You would basically need to prepare the 2nd style (most likely from scratch) to make this work. Almost all low frequency sounds would probably need to get cut from the 2nd Style or else you'll experience a lot of conflict. To use the 2nd key as a traditional sound module to fatten up the sounds/tracks? sure...but to actually trigger two different Styles in sync? That I haven't tried myself. I know for fact certain midi messages are NOT supported but again, it'd be nice to try this out sometimes. I'm not even sure if it'll work at all.

I can see how it would be challenging.
