Hi
Can anybody be kind enough to share any of the following edited solo voices...I have tried and failed to edit decent sound.
The voices direct out of the box are dead compared to all the Demo's shown on you tube.
I would love..Grand Piano with room reverb and sustain....
A decent Classic Guitar....and a Blues Harmonica like used in blues songs
any help would be grateful
kind regards

Hi Ronnie
Must say I experience the opposite BUT am wondering what you are playing the PA4X through.
You can adjust the SOUNDs in sound mode (e.g. attack, sustain etc..etc.. ) - remember when doing this you may have to write your edited sound to a USER location in order to keep it. Of course you can also modify the associated effects too.
I know you said you tried this but maybe we can help if you were't sure of what/how to edit???
The other thing I can suggest is to spend some time with MaxxAudio settings - it's easy for all of us to have and hear different qualities of sounds and probably relates heavily to the equipment that it is being played through.
Cheers
Pete

Hi Pete
Thank you for replying.
I have as I said in last posting tried to edit voices without any good results.
I thought any member here could send their edited voices..perhaps I could find them better then the factory voices.
Never was I good at creating styles or editing voices inpast keyboards..always got kind help from other forum members.
I love playing my music as it is good for my stressful life I live.
thanks again Pete
regards

Hi again Ronnie
If this sounds like I'm arguing, trust me, I'm not - would love to help you.... so....
I actually love the Classic guitars, pianos and Blues Harp on my PA4X (I know this is all very subjective I realise)
SO - would love to help here but need to understand exactly what you want and how you want the current PA4X sounds changed.
Do you have any examples like maybe youtube/sound references?
Cheers
Pete

I haven't found a need to do much editing. I might suggest going through every style, and trying all the Keysets associated with them. When you find a sound you like, save it to a User bank or Keyset.
Korg has some killer lead sounds set up in some of the style Keysets.

Thanks for your reply.
If I did find a particular good sound in any styles. Keyset...how do I save that tone into user slot.
Also sometimes in the actual style playing (factory ) I hear a good sound tone there...can I also save that sound into user slot in the same as keyset.
Regards

When you find a sound you like, just hold down the last button on lower right, USER/DIRECT. A menu will open that lets you save it. Pick the location you want. That's it!

I use Don's method to keep my favorite sounds right in front of me. I choose a song that I have written to Songbook and have stored in one of my Set Lists. The STS sounds, of course, already are in 1-4. Sometimes they are custom, but mostly not, so I go to the User/Direct bank and keep it open. Anytime I want to substitute a sound for the STS, it is right there for immediate use. This gives me many more choices, and, the User sounds are always there anytime you want to plug one into your solo.
