Nanokey and Nanokontrol Studio - turning illumination off?

How do you turn the illumination/Xmas lights 'feature' off (which is driving me nuts!) when using the Studios with an ipad/Gadget. I've been on my windows PC and gone into the editor software and can see how to do it there but it won't write and when I clicked save it asks me to 'save as' something which means nothing to me at all...? Thanks

SERIOUSLY, IF I DON'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN THESE DAMN XMAS LIGHTS OFF SOON BOTH THESE THINGS ARE GOING IN THE F*****G BIN!!!:wacky:
