The debate in the other place (forum) ....."is this video authentic" ?? Well the company who's line of work it popped up on are, and the fact it has now been removed so quickly after about 8hrs with just under 500 views probably confirms this (mistake or intentional ?) and having a closer look at a copy I still have here.... then it look like this video could be authentic to me............. So not long now I would think and we will see the latest offering coming from Yamaha which I think is fairly safe to say in that video is referring to the New TOTL Arranger (Genos) coming soon...............

Will be very interesting to see what Yamaha come up with.
Hopefully not another re-hashed Tyros.

I like Yamaha and have owned many of their arrangers in the past but (sorry - just my personal views) I think they have been extremely lazy in their arranger "development" since the introduction of Tyros.
Hopefully they will come up with a "professional" unit this time - I am actually looking forward to it and hope I'm not disappointed again (for the 6th time)

The current "rumour" is that it is now pushed back to November for release???

Have you heard anything about this?

Pete :D

I agree Pete and to prize me away from the PA4X would be tall order...BUT.... if the Montage is a glimpse of what this New Arranger could be when sharing some aspects of DNA and Design Philosophy then who knows ?....but I am enjoying my fusion of Montage and PA4X for now.... as for the other question I will have to slip past that.........but strong competition in any marketplace is always good for the consumer :)

With a bit look a new name means a new keyboard and not just another incremental upgraded tyros.

Please!! I hope it is not the one shown in the dark shaded image at 0:20!!
I see the same old screen surrounded by buttons - (no touch screen??)

I know, I know, let's wait and see...... but that faded image is a worry already...

Pete these fellers are a large dealer in the UK for Yamaha and clearly things are moving very fast with the entry of that unofficial Genos video hitting the air waves and then being removed from the source so being in business these feller are staying ahead of the game and they must have permission to advertise there event...but no official pictures or information are available by anyone as yet not even these fellers it's only part of there promotion put together quickly to grab custumers and get in there 1st i would think... :)

Interesting that on the Genos site Yamaha refers to the Genos as 'Digital Workstation' instead of 'Arranger' or 'Arranger Workstation'.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the Genos.
