I was looking for the cheapest microKork on the internet, and I found this:

I'm wondering if, since the pad itself is intact, if I could replace the key using keys from a broken midi controller I have. It's the Akai LPK25:
** 2 **
Upon closer inspection I realized that the keys are exactly the same as some replacement microKorg Keys I found on the internet for $110.
The key size, screw placement, protruding plastic parts, and how each set of 12 keys snap together seems to be identical to the microKorg.

Does anyone know for sure if this is possible it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I doubt that the Akai keys will fit with the microKorg.

You can find indeed replacement keys for the microKorg; They are probably not original parts. But will be better than with Akai ones.
110$ seems a bit too much or that's for the whole keyboard? I think it becomes expensive then.
Then you better look for a mint second hand version or look for only a group with 7 white keys to do the replacement. Not sure how easy you can replace them...

Have fun.

Thank you for your response. The Akai keys seem to be identical in every way, but I will look a little harder for Korg mini keys.
