Double accounts

I just rejoined this forum after not having posted in a few years.i did not want to re register, but it had been so long since i used it i could not find a matching user name for my email to reset the password. I tried everything. Even with my old email which is still on file there was no method to look up or sign in unless there was a mtch. The process for missing password insisted on two id formats, even thogh my email was on file,
I had no choice but to wait two hours and reregister
