Krome vs kronos. . . Need Gregorian Chants

I play the Kronos 88. I'm looking for some good Gregorian chant type samples. I found something but it's made for The Korg Krome.

I won't be able to use those on the Kronos will I?

Anybody know where I can find some good Gregorian chant samples for the Kronos?

I'm new with this stuff . .
Not new to playing, but have never loaded sounds

How do I load this on to my Korg Kronos? I don't see anything in the manual to help . . .
Do I have to run this through one of my Apple laptops?

IN fact, a .WMA looks like a Windows media File to me. ..

Read the section about the sampler. You will have to create your own multisample, map that to a program, and then map every sample in the multisample to a keyboard key. Qui R has a video on making multisamples; the video uses Omnisphere as a source but you can use anything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nURLCUGAzTw

Wolfiebear, I think an easier path, to you, would be create the soundfont, put it in a pendrive and import it to your Kronos.

Kronos import it natively.

Soundfont is an old format. There are many editors out there. Maybe this one could be interesting and it's free AFAIK: http://polyphone-soundfonts.com/en/.
Anyway, i have no experience with polyphone, just read about it.

Do you have a copy of the Kronos Operations Guide? If not, you can download it here:

In ‘Sample Mode’ the Kronos is capable of the following:

1. Sample external audio sources
2. Edit the data you sampled and set loop points
3. Create multisamples (one or more samples spread across the keyboard)
4. Convert multisamples into Programs
5. Use a USB drive to sample directly from Audio CD’s

All of the manuals and documentation are on a CD/DVD included with your Kronos. I actually printed the user manual out for a reference. It is huge. The parameter guide is even bigger.

Is it easy to get one of these DVDs? Maybe I had one… but I don't remember ever seeing it.

I did get a screaming deal on this Korg. it was open box so perhaps it wasn't in there… I really don't know.

If you check the ANGEL'S SINGING SOFTLY combination in your Korg Kronos - I think you'll find that to be a reasonably good Gregorian Chant sound. The ideal range seems to be G3 to G5 in my opinion
