Post by Jo Martins »

Hello People,

A moronic question but here it goes:

I would like to upgrade my PA4X to V2.0 but, can I put all my styles, songbooks, key setups, etc again without losing all my precious work?? How?

Also, is there a way to load samples without erasing already loaded ones?

Thanks for the help!!

Regards,
Jo

Hi Jo, yes, you can (and definitely should) save everything before you upgrade to v2.0.

You may want to look at the thread here, which will give you a brief overview of the procedure:

http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... highlight=

Also, look at the upgrade pdf doc too that comes with the v2.0 files and check out Sam's video walk-through of how to do it (which you can find in the sticky training resources/videos towards the top of the forum).

Re. the sample question, even though I haven't done it myself, you can, according to the manual, select the location of any samples that you load. All of the info about the procedure is on P458 of the full 1120 page manual, which you can find here:
http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /516/2572/ , (FYI, the manual and the upgrade manual (different) comes with the v2.0 files).

Hope this helps,
Best wishes,
Jon
