Help - Finishing songs with Korg Krome

Post by Theman11 »

Hi everyone, this is my first post here! :)

I am currently renting a Korg Krome and am working on a few songs in sequencer mode. I am still new to this and so I do not know how to actually turn my songs into .wav or mp3 files... can someone please explain it to me?

I am assuming I need to dump the files into an audio program such as Logic Pro or FL Studios etc.. but I'm unsure. Which software(s) do you think would be best? :D

I have the Krome editor but I read online it works as a plugin and not a stand-alone software.

*Plz advise*

There is no facility in the Krome for recording audio. Audio recording will need to be done instead using the Krome Audio outs to an external recording device, such as a standalone recorder, or using audio recording software on a PC e.g. Audacity, or using the audio recording facilities in DAW software. Simply saving MIDI or .SNG files from the Krome will not allow the sounds to be reproduced later once the rented Krome has gone back, since these files only contain event data, not the sounds themselves.

If could help I can convert your SNG to audio.
Just send me your SNG and PCG and will receive the WAV file.
