Hello I have a Oasys 88, and after a 20-30 min. its power of sometime faster.
Then I have to take the power cord of the O and sit it back again, and it all start op again but again after 20-30 min. turns down.
It all startet after I got a new battery install, by a proof electronic rep man.
Anyone have a clue what it wrong.
Sorry for my bad english

In the Global Basic screen, does the drop down menu at top right offer the item "Auto Power-off Setting...."?

No.
twice, I would put a different battery in. You don't need a tech to do it. Just remove one screw, from the middle of each side.
Right above the keybed, lift up the surface plate (that has the screen and buttons on it).
From what I remember, there is another metal plate, a few inches wide, just left of center (by the keybed). Unscrew that and you can access the battery and the RAM.

I might suspect fan problems. If the fans are not working, the unit will quickly overheat and shut down. I had many fan problems with mine. If you can get into the BIOS, you can control the fans.

Nice. Did you put it in yourself? If so, which fan did you get?

Hi Steve - could you provide more details on what you're alluding to here?
Thanks,

What fan did you get?
Mine just shut itself off, but it was after few hours of use...
I noticed it was getting a bit hot and few moments later, it shut itself down...
I rarely noticed the fan being on, to be honest... :S
