kross 2 editor not seeing keyboard

Question: I am running MacOS 10.13.3 and have two macs on one the new kross 2 editor runs perfectly but on my laptop just the editor cannot see or sync with the keyboard.
If i unplug the keyboard it says device removed but the keyboard is not syncing or even showing as an option to connect to within the editor. This is the same running standalone or as a plug in. I have tried removing and reinstalling but to no avail, as i said on my desktop iMac running the same system works perfectly but on my laptop (which would be preferred) no show) it will play audio through the kross but not talk to the software, I am out of ideas as to how to fix this but it is essential that i do as i only bought the device because of the editor !!! HELP!!!
