Hey guys,
what's the best way to clean the keyboard plastic ( joy stick area ) it's very sticky & dirty. I used water and soap, didn't work. it's like melted plastic I can't slide my fingers on it.
any ideas ??

The plastic degrades over time and is a known problem and I don’t think it can be cleaned off.
The only bit you really need to touch is the area below the joystick. I have put some black tape on this section.

Thank you, I think I have to put tape too.

Hi

I have asked about same like others too.

Korg personnel do view this forum but still see no obligation to give some feedback/guidance on a manufacturing issue.

well...they took the money and gone.

The best way (work perfect for me) NO need a tape or something else to cover it.
Buy a Triple Thick Clear Glaze Aerosol Spray 12oz-(Krylon branch or any branch ) in paint department. Cover your keyboard with a paint tape around the area you're not spay before spray in stick area.
After it dry you can feel no more sticky and the keyboard looking good without a black tape cover. Good luck

Hi
How long did the treatment with the Clear glaze last? Did affect the appearance of the areas after the treatment?
