Fender Rhodes Piano sound needed

Post by jar125 »

Can anyone recommend a cost effective method of getting a decent fender rhodes sound on my PA3x?

Many thanks for any suggestions

I find the factory Tine E.Piano on Page 4 or the Vintage EP in the Legacy section to be quite good.

My go-to vintage keys as well. There are some other good ones too, but these two are my big favorite!

Many thanks for those suggestions. I find the existing voices dont have that characteristic growling distortion you get when you hit the keys hard with a rhodes :)
I was hoping to avoid having to spend 400 plus euros on a package like this

http://pastyles.x10.mx/mobile/Pa3X%20So ... aries.html

but I guess I may just have to bite that bullet or abandon the dream. Thanks again

This free set includes a Amp Distortion EP
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

or this zipped version might be easier to download
https://drive.google.com/file/d/11LSFrJ ... sp=sharing

They contain 4 Electric Pianos from edited factory sounds (no Ram memory used)
Dyno EP RX - a much nicer Dyno then the factory versions
Vintage EP RX - similar to factory Vintage but with more realism and effects
Dist Amp EP - distorts when played hard
Wurly Combo EP - the missing Wurly sound

Edit:
Just for you I have created an extra EP with an Overdrive sound below.
It has the four above plus one called Dist OD Amp EP. Five EP's in all.

Hi Reuben, that sounds great. Do you know if they can be imported in pa2x too? If don't do you know of similar EPs suitable for pa800-2x?

Thanks!

Thanks. I have also learned how to load new sounds :) It would appear that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks ;)

All I need to do now is tecah myself how to sample and load the sound the keyboard player in dirty loops uses and I'll be able to die a happy man!

Just watched an interview with Jonah Nilsson. He mainly uses Korg Triton type sounds played on a Korg X50. Most of these sounds are available on the Pa3x already. Check out the Synth Lead section - if the sound you want is not there you should be able to create/modify it in Sound Mode.

Creating new song folders

Post by jar125 »

After recording a song, when I go to save it , the machine appears to direct me to an unstructured folder called KHD_User I would like to arrange the songs in that folder into different types in different folders. Is there a method of creating folders inside KHD_User into which songs could be saved?

Many thanks

Actually the right website with PC/Mac is http://wavesart.eu/Pa3XSoundLibraries and for real Rhodes (cost 105 euros)
http://wavesart.eu/Pa3XSoundLibraries/P ... k%20V.html but only for Pa4X/Pa1000
For Pa3X there is the new Lounge Suitcase (Kronos library at present time) that you can request from
http://wavesart.eu/Hire service
As concerning factory Pa3X & Rhodes , only "Vintage EP" looks like Rhodes close to 25 % , actually the lack is obvious
when sound not hidden behind effects !
