Hello;
I am sure that most of people know this, but I remind again, because it is very usefull !!!
You can use sample in sf2 format, and you convert them using awavestudio.
You will find plenty of sf2 in internet.
I re-made all my saxophones, trumpets, piano... using this tip, and the result is fantastic.... a new colors of sounds in may Korg.

For which conversion to you need Awave? I think Awave is not suitable for converting well-structured sf2-files and for simple structured sf2-files it is not necessary!

Pa-Keyboards must contain non-colliding key ranges - also Awave's "Regions" (Instrument zones) must contain non-colliding key ranges, which doesn't have to be the case of sf2-instrument. So when Awave is reading sf2-file it is split into instruments with several layers.

This may be the only advantage of Awave, because the final creation of a sophisticated structured sf2-file can not be converted with Awave, whereas for simply structured sf2-files no converter is necessary.

So it is simple to create PCGs with one ore some few Multisamples for Pa-Keyboards with importing simple structured sf2-files without Awave. However, Awave can not assign the multisamples to the oscillators of a PCG sound as it is intended in an sf2-file. The PCG file of a Pa keyboard (eg Pa1000) consists of a maximum of 48 multisamples - Awave do not convert and handle that.

PS: I am sorry about my mistake - i forget Pa3x is not equipped with sf2-import-feature, so for importing and preparing sf2-files for Pa3x Awave really is useful - but do not see adavantages with Pa4x / Pa1000.
