Go to:
Menu---->Effects Choose FX B (FX B is for right hand FX A is for style/midi)
Set your effects then go to Menu ---->Mixer Tuning-----> FX send
Set amount for upper 1 2 3 or 4 depends on which upper you have piano sound.

I am wondering: is this change only local - for current style, or global - for all styles which use this piano sound? And is it permanent, in the sense that it will remain after the keyboard restarts?

Effects of group “FX A” are selected for Style & Pads (Background tracks) and effects of group “FX B” for Keyboard (Realtime tracks).
Background tracks and also Realtime tracks are memorized in settings (StyleSettings, KeyboardSet) and that are the locations where effects resides permanent if memorized in settings. You also can use effects temporary with a direct access to an specific effect-type for a selected track.

This basically not only applies to effects, but to all musical resources (sounds, drum kits, etc.) - parameters of tracks memorized permanent, but possiblbe also to be used temporary.

When turning the instrument on the “My Setting” Performance is automatically selected - with that effects you memorized to tracks for this performance.

PS: but would be bad enough if effects (or musical resources) only could be used globally or temporary.
kind regards
