iMono/Poly Hangs

Hi,
A great treat to get the iMono/Poly - I had the hardware version many years ago.
Hooked it up using the Korg Plugkey and all seemed good. Triggered it from my midi controller first time and it took me back all those years - great synth.
However, it hangs if I change patch from the midi keyboard or use the sustain pedal. At least, I think that's the reason.
Tried to figure out what midi config I need to do inside the iMono/Poly but cant figure it out so at the moment I cant use the synth. Any advice greatly appreciated re the sustain/patch change or other users who've encountered problems with it hanging.
