Hi everyone.
I have had my Korg Krome for about a year and suddenly last week I was working with some drum patches and I found that only a few of the keys were triggering sound. For example, C2 has no sound and does not play the kick drum however the hi-hat plays the sound on F#.
I did some further investigating and found this to be the case on over half the drum kits as well as some ethnic patches as well.
I tried doing a factory reset but it did not help.
Is there a way to resolve this?
Thanks in advance
Michael

Did you do Preload data?
Operation Guide page 125:
Another method is using the krome editor:

---Restoring the factory settings
Loading the preloaded data
The original preload data is backed up in the KROME,
so you can restore any or all of the Programs,
Combinations, Drum Kits, User Arpeggio Patterns,
and Global settings to their original factory settings.
Note: The original demo songs can be re‐loaded at any
time. For details, please see “About the data loaded by
All (Preload PCG and Demo Songs)”.
User banks and user patterns into which preload data
has not been loaded will remain unchanged. If you
want to erase user banks or user patterns, initialize the
KROME and then load the preload data.
