Keys raised up in shipping: broken or fixable?

Discussion relating to all other KORG Pianos related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, SP170, SP250, SP280, LP380, MICROPIANO and so on....

Keys raised up in shipping: broken or fixable?

Post by megan »

We just unboxed our new Korg B1 and some of the keys on the are raised up about half an inch from the others. Is this a common shipping problem or do I have a busted piano?

I had the same thing happen. The bottom 4 keys on a Korg D1 were damaged. I sent mine back and am awaiting a replacement to be sent. I would much rather walk into a store and drive home with it. I was amazed to find that no stores in the San Francisco area carry it in stock, at least not what I could find. Really loved the keyboard and can't wait for the new one which I hope arrives in better condition.
