Program change via MIDI or using TWO foot switches?

Hi,

I recently bought a keytar (Alesis Vortex 2) which I would like to use to control my TEX during live gigs.
I will be switching the instruments during the whole gig, I mean, I will play half of a song on TEX, then another half on keytar and so on. Every song consists of multiple combis which are in sequential order.

What I need is to be able to comfortable switch the combis during the play. (what I did until now via Program UP with foot switch).

I am struggling with this and I haven't come up with a acceptable solution yet.

At first I thought that I will just use +/- buttons on keytar and that will just switch to the next/previous combi in Triton. Nope. That just sends some command and it always changes the combi to A001 and then starts from that. Which is useless for me as I use multiple banks, and I will switch half of them via Triton.

Second idea was to somehow connect two foot switches to the Triton, having one near Triton and one near the place where I will be standing with keytar. But I think this won't work either, as switch input can only take Mono jack, and all the reduction cables are from 2xMono jack to 1 Stereo jack.. that would only make one pedal working. Which is no help for me.

I can't believe there is no suitable solution for this.. Do any of you guys plays similar configuration on live gigs?
Do you have any advises how to solve this?

PLEASE HELP :-k

If it will be helpful to anyone, I found a solution.
I was thinking about to solder 2 mono female jacks to 1 mono male as it should work.
But actually I bought a "2 mono female to 1 stereo male" cable and it works :) so no problem

Is this for next/previous Program or Combi switching?
