Korg pa80 integrated usb interface

hello, so bacically i used to have a pa80 , when it got wrecked, i got myself a new one, and i noticed that it had a usb interface at the back the old one didn't have, and i can't seem to find any information online on what it's used for, even in the user manual, so i hope that some of the experienced users could help me out on this one, i'd really appreaciate it.
