External MIDI control of 01R/W

Dear Korg Pros, I'm a guitarist. I use my 01R/W in conjunction with a Roland GR55 guitar synth. I wish to know how I may use a MIDI floor controller (Rocktron All Access) to to change COMBI patches on the Korg. I've tried channels 1 and others using various program change numbers and get no response. . Where can I find info on what parameters I need to get this unit to rsond? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
