KORG PA4x STUCK AFTER V2 UPGRADE

hello.. need a help..i have a problem..my pa4x factory OS is 1.24 and after upgrade to V2 it stucks on pa4x logo screen..ive tried new os download and even change the flasdis but the problem is the same..succed for reset and format update but stuck.. does any one have the same problem?

Hi tonsy
Are you updating to 2.0 or 2.2?
Just in case you were not aware you MUST update to V2.0
before updating to 2.1 or 2.2 - that is critical.

im using OS RES 2.0 ofcourse

Just a little confused here - you are saying that you are upgrading from 1.2.4 to 2.0 yet you say:-
this isnt my 1st time updating to v2
So did you actually "downgrade" to 1.2.4 at some stage?
OR are you saying that you are fine at V2 but this problem has suddenly occurred...?
Trying to help - just not clear on what the situation is...

So this is NOT the first time you went to V2?
What did you do before - so did you upgrade to V2, then downgrade to 1.2 and now try to upgrade again?
Overwrite-installing major versions in both directions may have some consequences - I'm not sure, but I would never try it personally
Perhaps there are others here who can confirm that major version downgrades are actually OK.
Sorry I can't help further - still not too sure what you have actually done in the past with the PA4X versions....

im secondhand keyboard seller in indonesia...this is not my 1st time upgrading pa4x os... i dont know ..perhaps this keyboard has a hardware error.. but that made me confuse is it was run normaly until upgrade to v2..it get stuck..
allready ask korg indonesia for OS RES 1.24 and that dosnt solve the problem..i think im gonna send it to them for service
maybe if someone needs os reset 1.24 upd can go to

Ah!!! Now this makes sense and yes, it does seem like there could be a problem with the actual PA4X.
Service is a sensible option....
I also posted the link to the 1.2.4 update above.
