Right now the only features i would expect mostly, is a Bpm analyzer and the option of having a cue on mp3 files,
so we can change mp3 files non-stop on the fly,
just like the way we use styles.

Adding more or virtual unlimited style banks would be a plus too....

Of course that feature should already exist on pa4x for midi files.
Blending midies using X-faders is not a good option on my opinion,Cues on other hand could work better.

I'd like to see a way to scroll through styles from the front page instead of jumping in and out of style select all the time.

Also when in the style selection screen it would be good if the tiles displayed the time signature and bpm of the style.

And have song book save global settings like midi setup which would be great when using an external midi controller.

Just my pennies worth.

I would like to see the Chords that are playing featured within the window beside the Tempo Bar, as on its current location it is not very clear, when a guitarist is playing along they cannot see the Chords that are playing with the current location shown.

I would like Korg to give us upper and a lower drawbars.
Or allow us to bring up drawbars on the lower, set and save them and then when accessed from an upper bank, changing the drawbar settings does not change the lower..

Also I would like to be able to set insert FX on at least two voice banks.
If you look at how the default drawbars is setup, it uses upper 1 to Insert fx. In this screen which is in menu, mixer tuning, insert fx, it will not allow another voice bank to be linked in.
If it did we could easily at least have the rotor changing and effecting upper and lower at the same time.
I have set a work around to achieve rotor linked upper and lower but a shame I have to do it..

Please would you be able to fix it in the next system - add - add - DETECT CHORDS? WITHOUT BASS INVERT ????

I would see the feauture to save at least dwo different VP presets per one SongBook record.

Split AND layer on both upper and lower sections

Also, as with many other keyboards, the posibility to split the keyboard into 4 zones, so you can have 8 sounds played at the same time, and regulated in real time with each "drawbar"

I posted some of these before, on separated posts, but I go here now
(no particular order)

- User interface for "plug and play" guitar. And all the posibilites opened up with that!. Record it, play along, sequencing, mixing it with the Pa4X sounds, etc

- Touch sensitivity on/off for each sound. Specially in split and layer modes. For example, if a quiet string section with even volume is needed to play a sax or piano solo. Those strings wouldn't need touch sensitivity, but the solo instrument does.

- Up to 8 sounds to be layered and or splitted. Regulated with each fader or "drawbar". I find only one zone limited for lower part to restrictive. Sometimes at least a couple of layered sounds for the lower part is needed.

- OSIMO ready integration for all the future updates/upgrades

- Main black or Main white screen and fonts selectable (with brightness adjust) to play with different light conditions. Against sunlight, dim illumination, etc

- Recording and exporting WAV files, not MP3 only

- And of course, even volume ouput for all sounds, and SMOOTH SOUNDS TRANSITION, no matter if we're playing songs, sounds, styes, etc.
