Thanks for info burningbusch, really appreciate it. I got a mail from Korg, but nothing about update (only info about new KAPRO libraries). Thanks to Korg, but I am little disappoint with only few bug fixes in this update, and nothing about free library sound.
I hope that we will not have to wait next time, more then 2. years, for OS update.

Only three bugs were fixed, nothing new was added, but at least thanks for that!

Korg, add new free banks someday already, so that there is where to put your new libraries!

Well, there is a SMALLLLLLLLLLL move forward... lol

It doesn't surprise me at all, $199 for EXS21, no offer for new / recent owners of the kronos 2 before the SE launched? how disgusting.

EXS20 sounds nice, I guess at some point I'll put it through it's paces. does worry me about the way it's been multi-sampled. sounds like it's been voiced as stop presets and then edited from there. not a good idea as it's not a true representation of a pipe organ, I can testify to that as an organist.

KAPro's new libraries, well done, a good sign of movement there.

oh well, suppose that's a "Sign of improvement...."

Thanks Busch for the heads up on the update for the Kronos 2. Your PC samples are the best IMO for Eps. and clavs.

I have just updated successfully to new 3.1.3 OS.
Regarding the Firmware there was no need to update, I have already 1.10 version. How it is possible, that just released update is already installed on my Kronos ( bought on June 2018) ?

Thanks to Korg for the bug fixes, Kronos is still alive!

It's a shame there are no firmware fixes for USB reliability for the original Kronos/X.

I'm still having problems with either Audio or USB not appearing at random times. Rarely will I get both available at once, often neither.
It would be nice to have one cable to rely upon, rather than carrying around extra audio and MIDI connection for my laptop. But I can't rely on this on stage....

Thanks for the update, KORG!
Why important and necessary changes and additions that have long been discussed by users, the guide is not in a hurry to do and do not even notice these issues?
It is hoped that Korg will take into account the criticism of its users and will not stop working on the OS in the future, and of course, improve its software.

There is a v6.06 firmware available for original Kronos/X. Much larger than the v6.04 update that was around for at least Original Kronos.

yes, after 2 years of silence, Korg is showing some support for Kronos owners.

I think this is all we can expect. I don't have any wish list these days.
This is why I wanted to waited for end of February with my communication to Korg.

I agree with you, recent K2 owners got caught in a way. This is why many of us advise to 'wait for NAMM' starting in October.

If it were me, and if I could not wait, try to work out a 60 day exchange option with your retailer. This is just a negotiating idea.

Anyway, it would have been a good idea to roll back the EXS 21 price even further for new K2 owners for the past 90 days.

Realistically, its not going to be a perfect world. But you [we] are the customer
and Korg and other co's should always listen to customers.

interesting point here. I just found that my kronos 2 running OS 3.1.3 has already had it's firmware upgraded? odd!

had to pop out and pick up a replacement USB cable to do this? wasted good time. doesn't make it easy to find out firmware through system menu either.

KORG... ARE YOU LiSTENING? (in the style of Kenny Everett)
