Akai EWI USB and Kronos

Hi there, any EWI players?
I'm having some troubles trying to play it with Kronos:
-If poly every single notes is played together with a chord (usually a Xm7)
-If mono one bass note gets stuck, for example Bb is stuck so every new note i try to play (out of a sequence of notes, like staccato) Bb comes first like a blue note.
-Expression does not work.
-Hold the EWI reset button solves none of the above.
Any thoughts?

I use the Akai EWI with Kronos since a year or 2

Stick the EWI-USB in the Kronos USB-port

I use the EWI always on Midi channel 2, and play the other key parts on the other midi channels

The Stan Getz patch is crazy!

The sounds are great but that doesn't answer any of my questions...

Somehow i figured out that CC02 (breath) is causing a lot of problems with this EWI. I changed it to send only CC11 (expression) and Aftertouch and those problems vanished. BUT i can't figure out how to configure CC11 on Kronos, any help?

Of course it is, it is amazing, marvelous, beautiful, incredible, but i don't have that much money

What have you done so far?

I pulled my EWI USB out from the box just now to give it a try. It works as expected just plugging straight into the Kronos USB port.

Do you get the same behavior from an INIT EXi program?

The only thing I can think of to help you is maybe try swapping out the USB cable for another.
